| Today is such a wonderful day. I don't know why.. But I hope it stays this way. Actually I know why. The sun is shining.. So I'm smiling. And it has chased my tears away.
I am in such a good mood today. It's crazy.

| As you can see, new layout. I know, it's kind of drastic but you see, Max introduced me to Muse way back in May and I completely forgot about it. Just recently, one of my dormmates was listening to their album and I've been addicted to this song since. To tie it all in, I thought it would be awkward to have this mellow melody as the background song of my previous layout. Furthermore, I am reading Dracula for my Interpretation & Argument class so it blends in perfectly with the mood of this new layout.
 It has been raining all day today. Back in WWP, where I drove everywhere, I'd only have to deal with the rain for about 5 minutes at the most. Here, I have to walk to and from class (a 10 minute walk each) with only an umbrella to protect me (and my hair).
I'm pretty proud of myself. After my partying on Saturday, I have been very studious and finished all my homework/readings a day or a couple of hours ahead. Having no pressure/stress and nothing to do is very rewarding. Man, it's been a while since I've been like that. | | |
| Man.. this week(end) has been crazy!
Monday through Friday was school, obviously. After classes on Friday, I went to this Sorority (Kappa Phi Lambda) gathering and had my first Bubble Tea. I have to say, that stuff's pretty good especially the "bubbles". Later that night I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with my "family unit" (the cool kids at my dorm). I've been wanting to see that movie for such a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterwards, we all just chilled around and then I called it a night.
Saturday was the main event. Before I did anything remotely fun I made sure I did some work. But later that night I went to my first party ever! Well, I've been to 2 in Pboro but I never really stayed/drank. Since I came to college, a people have asked me to party with them but I always managed to avoid going. Maybe it's because I was scared and perhaps it's a trust issue. But this time I went with 3 guys: Nitin (pronounced Nithin), Cihan (G-Spot!), and Alex (who gave me his shirt - which I plan on keeping - for the Graffiti party). David walked with us but went to another party.
Nitin took care of me first. I had what they call a "Lady's Drink" which was pretty good. Then we went to this room where there were Jello Shots and I had 3 of those. So I was pretty buzzed after that but I didn't consume anymore because I'm a responsible girl. Since I was burning up (my face was so red), we went outside and just talked. It was cool because you could see people walking around going to various parties in the Frat Quad.
Later on Nitin handed me over to Cihan and we just chilled. But for a while this Sophomore, Naveed, took care of my hunger issue and gave me some hot dog buns to munch on since I was getting hungry. Cihan walked me back to my room (which is all the way on the other side of the Frat Quad) around 1:30 because he thought I've had enough and there wasn't much to do/see anymore.
Overall, it was a great experience. Everyone at PiKa (I can't do the Greek symbols here) were really nice and wanted to make sure I had an awesome first time.

| Oh my, oh my! I love this song so much. I was in Justin's room this morning and this song came on his playlist . Since then, I've been listening to it over and over again. You got Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill in the same song that just makes you want to get it on. Could it get any better?
I just love it when I hear a really good song. It reminds me how good life can be and it reminds me how much I love music.

So I spent most of my day chilling will this really cool kid I met at Clippership last Friday (dance party on a cruise boat). And he just wanted me to clarify that it was he who told me about this song first. And he is THE MAN!
